The happiest I saw Nashville in 2010 collectively was during the opening bars of "Here Comes Your Man" on the first evening of the Pixies's two night barrage. Of course everyone was in full swoon mode by the last song (take a wild guess yall). There was something so magical about seeing this band play their best album Doolittle in its entirety. The Pixies started out as a college band up in the weird art school reaches of the north, only released three albums, influenced everyone from Nirvana to Radiohead, broke up and then got back together again to suddenly discover that legions of folks across the nation LOVE them to death! DON'T MEAN MAYBE!!!
